The fourth and (I believe) last speaker from the Hamburg symposium on Scientology’s impact and reach within the U.S. has been posted by AboutScientology.  Larry Brennan presents a wealth of knowledge to the German government officials, media and Anons in the audience.

New Video of Dan Murnan

Tory has talked about running into Dan Murnan in recent months and reflected on how sickly he now looks.  I haven’t seen Dan since 1999 when he appeared in a lot of my videos but now there is new footage of him from L.A.

It is rather unfair to add the music and slow-mo.  You can distort easily with such devices.  We don’t know that he is a “victim” of Scientology as this video suggests.  What I have heard is that, years back, Dan gave up his well paying job and joined staff.   From someone on the outside, that doesn’t look like a good move.

I’ve heard from a lot of people over the years who have felt sorry for Dan and wondered where he was and how he is doing.  I felt sorry for him, too, and never took it personally when he picketed my home or bullbaited me.  That was Scientology on display.

Back in ’99, I put a flier together about Dan.  Essentially it said “Scientology, don’t send Dan Murnan to the RPF!”  It was meant to show what can happen to a staff member if DM is pissed off for any reason.

It appears Dan may well have spent some time in the RPF which royally sucks.

L. Ron Hubbard No-Way

Two brave souls spoke out against Scientology’s abuse of street permits, shutting down L. Ron Hubbard Way for events but also to stop free speech whenever Anonymous or anyone else wants to protest.

Thank you Samantha Franklin and Lisa Derrick for stepping up and speaking out!  I first met Lisa back in ’99 at a picket on L.A. Hubbard Way.  Even back then she had been frequently exposing Scientology fraud and abuse in Los Angeles newspapers and publications and is a terrific journailst.

FURTHER ABUSE:

To show another example of how Scientology abuses the legal system, Riverside Police stopped Anonymous from protesting at GOLD on Saturday, saying they were acting in concert with Keith Henson and thus enjoined by his restraining order.   Insanity.

Jason Beghe in Germany

Jason Beghe spoke at the invitation of the German government as part of a symposium on Scientology’s reach and impact in the United States.  As he did when he first sat down to do an interview with me a few months back, he speaks bluntly and delivers a powerful message.

My sincere thanks go out to Anonymous and AboutScientology for videotaping this speech as well as the equally powerful speeches by those other invited guests, attorney Graham Berry and Marc Headley.  Still to come is former high-level Scientologist Larry Brennan who has given some terrific radio interviews in the past year.

Beghe says he spent five days in Germany, and was trailed by employees of Scientology, even in his flights to Europe. “Private eyes were watching us all the way,” he says. Scientology also deployed several attorneys and high-level spokespeople, including Tommy Davis, a former close friend of Beghe and the son of actress Anne Archer. The attorneys, Beghe says, tried to shut down the symposium, unsuccesfully.

“I did a lot of interviews, all over Europe. We met with government officials. Belgium has a lawsuit against Scientology. France has a suit. It’s getting shut down in Russia,” he says.

At the end of his presentation, Beghe suggested that what governments could do was warn the public about Scientology the way they do about tobacco. If cigarettes are harmful, you put a warning label on the box. Why shouldn’t government do the same for Scientology? he asked.

“The next day, they had put up a sign warning about the dangers of Scientology,” Beghe says. An official with Germany’s Interior Department told him that a sign had immediately been placed in front of a church in Berlin. “The speech really had an effect,” Beghe says.

As you know, we are still here, and with every passing day your failure to account for the fraud and abuse exposed by our campaign becomes more evident to the media, to our government and to your own followers. Reuters , The BBC ,CNN, The London Times, Fox, The Associated Press, Forbes and a legion of local news agencies have chosen to communicate our message about your organization to their viewer-ship. And now the world is listening to us and watching you. The mechanism behind the phenomenal ease with which we have achieved this is simple. We are speaking the truth.

Your efforts to handle this condition are as predictable as they are expensive for you. This pleases Anonymous and we encourage you to continue waging your informational war against truth at great expense to you and at no cost to us. We approve of these conditions. Because within them defeat is impossible.

Our campaign has been one of constant success, and yours has been one of constant failure. This will continue. Evidence of our victory is everywhere. We are certain that Youtube and google appreciate your handsome patronage now necessary because of the ubiquity of our message. Unfortunately for you the hundreds of thousands of dollars you now spend every month because of Anonymous cannot change your organization’s history of crime and abuse of human rights, nor alter your organizations policy encouraging criminal behavior which are now all available to the public.

Your lawsuits to censor these documents will continue to fail at great cost to you just as your attempts to paint our peaceful demonstrations as terrorist activities have done nothing but foreground your tendency to abuse the judicial system to suppress free speech.

Defections at every level of your organization will continue to increase. By now you have most likely experienced the cognition that every action we take deprives you of at least one of the three following things: capital, clients and credibility. These conditions will continue to exert their pressure upon you and your superiors. The disorder will continue to deepen.

We have changed the rules of the game. Growth of the magnitude required to maintain your organization in its present form is no longer possible for you. Your ability to seduce the public has been destroyed. Your survival has long depended on your capacity to suppress the truth of your abuses, and that ability is now gone.

We have removed it.

Leaders of scientology, the data has spoken. We are at Cause. you are at effect.

Graham Berry Speaks in Germany

On September 4th, attorney Graham Berry presented a speech in Hamburg before German government officials, members of the press and the general public. Berry’s presentation was part of a larger symposium on the Church of Scientology’s impact within the United States.

Graham Berry has gone toe to toe with Scientology’s high powered and highly paid team of litigators. Few lawyers will take on the Church on Scientology and in this revealing and powerful talk he explains why. Scientology’s founder L. Ron Hubbard left extensive directives on how the court system should be used not merely to win a case but to ruin a person utterly.

With startling detail, Berry quotes from Hubbard’s policies to show how Scientology corrupts the court system with their limitless resources and Mafia-like tactics. Indeed, one of their top attorneys came to Scientology from the Gambino family. Berry lays out Hubbard’s plans to take control of various sectors of American life. Using covert tactics and agents from within, Hubbard set out to become the government. He urged his followers do what needed to be done to seize control. “Before someone tries to outlaw Scientology,” Hubbard urged, “Make sure we’re the ones to say what is legal and illegal.”

Also speaking were actor Jason Beghe who earlier this year became the first Scientology celebrity to go public after leaving the organization, and two former high ranking members of Scientology, Larry Brennan and Marc Headley. Beghe’s YouTube interview has been widely seen around the world. Brennan and Headley have given extensive interviews to the press.

The Combine Interview

This is a really interesting reworking of the Tom Cruise leaked Scientology tape.  They took Tom Cruise’s words and put them in the bleak futuristic universe of the popular video game Half-Life 2.  A viewer sent me this description of the game.

After a failed teleportation experiment a a portal to a evil intergalactic empire (called Combine) is opened. There was a 3 hour war in which the earth lost. The administrator of a science facility agreed to be a sort of Combine’s pawn on earth. The Combine has killed or taken away all children and made a suppression field so that humankind can’t reproduce.

Words that were once simply insane now take on a very frightening resonance.
