YouTube Suspends James Randi

The James Randi Education Foundation has had their YouTube account yanked.  This sucks.

YouTube has got to come up with a better system of dealing with frivolous complaints.

Heard about this the other day.

The JREF site still has minimal info:

Just another example of the loophole anyone can exploit to get videos taken off Youtube. Whether by a prankster or someone who is against the free speech of others.

    I think Voltaire said:

“I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.”

I dont think ill ever be in a position to truely know why YT brought down JREFs account. But, i hope they reverse this decision soon and revisit how they suspend accounts.

Once again, use vimeo and start linking your vids on youtube.

Youtube has created a sight that encourages people to be exploitative and warlike to remove videos, whether their reasons are legitimate or not.

James Randi is one of my favorites.
I liked his expose of the so called village of Nazareth.

Some of his videos are still on YouTube.
