Will Smith: Scientologist?

There’s been lots of reports over the past couple of years that Will Smith was getting more and more chummy with Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology. They hit a fever pitch in the past week and gained the attention of Stephen Colbert who remarkably remains brilliant even without his writers.

    Great clip, Mark!

    The power of comedy should not be underestimated. It can have a more devastating effect on the the career of its targets than serious reporting does. Look what happened with South Park and the $cientology based episodes “Trapped in the Closet” and “Return of the Chef”.

    “Flag,” the cult’s mecca in Clearwater, pales miserably in comparison on the celeb front. Clearwater, Ron’s “home base,” where Scientology’s “Super Power Building sites empty from its ribbon cutting, breaking ground public photo op.

    Sad, I’ve always been a big fan of Will’s, until last month he was one of my favorite actors. I refuse to help fund his new “friends” by paying to see his movies……RIP Fresh Prince
